Ranking Structure:

Recruit - [RCT]

Lowest rank: He/She is simply a trainee who’s starting Basic Combat Training (BCT). BCT begins when this person is first recruited and lasts for two ranks, in other words your training has ended at the rank of Private. At the rank of RCT you will be tasked with learning the Snakes of OUTER--HAVEN. Once he/she has been told the Snakes and can remember them then they will be promoted to Private.

Snakes: There are three Snakes to follow and they are easy to remember, once you can remember them you will be quickly promoted to Private. If you violate these rules then there are a number of actions that can betaken against you. You will be told these Snakes and you will have to remember them, here they are;



Primary Objective: RCT role is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability. (RCT does not have an insignia) If you as a RCT can do all this then you will be looking at being promoted to the rank of Private very quickly. For the most part, everyone enjoys being at the rank of Recruit on average of 10 minutes. Since thats how long it takes to learn the three Snakes.

Private - [PVT]


Rank: Now you've been promoted. But your still Green. This is the second phase of BCT. It's during this rank that you will learn how to go about missions. Your career as a solider is looking green right about now, but don't worry. Missions will become more complex and develop into a drawn out story line later on.

At the rank of PVT you will be tasked with one mission containing three objectives. Known as "OPERATION: OUTER--HAVEN". Once you have been briefed on your mission objectives you will be sent out to complete it with minimal help to see how resourceful you really are as a soldier. Shortly after you have completed your very first mission, you will be promoted to Corporal.


OPERATION: OUTER--HAVEN: Your trainer will brief you on your mission in detail. But for the most part, your first mission is to collect the equipment and gear you will need for future missions.



Primary Objective: PVT role is to carry out orders issued to them to the best of his/her ability. The mission can last as long as you want it to last. but don't be lazy, get your ass out there and complete your mission. Once completed then you will give the code word to your trainer, which will tell him to promote you to the rank of Corporal.

Corporal - [CPL]
S3 -> S1


Rank: CPLs serve as team leader of the smallest units (2-man teams). At this point you are fresh out of training and can continue your adventure by accepting more missions from any GM or PMC Captains.

Requirements For Promotion: Current requirements involve a number of things and they only become more complex, longer duration, and more of a challenge from here on out..

Once these Requirements are fulfilled you will be promoted to the rank of "Sergeant-S3."

Sergeant - [SGT]
S3 -> S1


Rank: Typically commands a squad (3-5 Soldiers). Considered to have the greatest impact on Soldiers because SGTs oversee them in their daily tasks. In short, SGTs set an example and the standard for Privates to look up to, and live up to. At this point you have some exp. under your belt and are fit to lead. Your also fit to recruit, so you should be able to grab and tag your way through this rank pretty easily.

Requirements For Promotion: Like I mentioned before, the requirements for promotion will become more difficult. But in your case your lucky. Why? Because there is also a time limit. You can only be at a certain rank for only so long, since there isn't a convention for you to go to every weekend there are also tasks you can take on within this site as well as waiting it out.

Gunny Sergeant - [G.SGT]
S3 -> S1


Rank: Also commands a squad (3-6 Soldiers). Often has one or more G.SGTs under their leadership. Responsible for developing, maintaining and utilizing the full range of his Soldiers' potential. Also is in charge of overseeing a SGT recruiting. At this point, the Gunny can use his squad to accomplish missions for the individual soldier and for the squad themselves.

For Example: There are missions for a single soldier to accomplish. But what if your a soldier in a squad, it can be difficult. So, a G.SGT has the power to use his/her squad to accomplish the mission for this individual soldier. Makes it easier and faster, if there are more than one soldier working on the same mission.

Another scenario is a mission for a G.SGT, which would mean he/she needs to utilize his/her squad to overcome a larger obstacle, such as tracking down and capturing a KEROTAN, or commanding his/her squad to defend a position for the allotted time.
